Exchange Mailbox Cleanup FAQ

Q. What is the limitation of trial version?
A. Trial version will allow you to cleanup 5 mailboxes only.

Q. What is the license Agreement?
A. You can use single license for as many times you wish to cleanup users mailboxes with in 1 year.

Q. Can I use Exchange Mail Box Cleanup on Windows 2008 Platform?
A. Application is designed to run with Windows 2003 and Exchange 2000 / 2003 servers.

Q. I cannot locate the domain control within Exchange Mailbox Cleanup application.
A. You must run ActiveDirectoryExport on a Domain Host Controller. You cannot run it on a workstation and try to cleanup mailboxes.

Q. I can locate my Domain Host Controller but unable to get list of Users and OUs.
A. You must use user id and password which is administrator and has Domain Admin rights.

Q. Can use a single license for more than one domain?
A. You can use single license to run on many domains within your network site.

Q. I am not able to activate Exchange Mail Box Cleanup.
A. Make sure you have Internet access on the server where you are running Exchange Mail Box Cleanup. It needs to connect to our server to validate the serial number.

Q. I did not receive serial key?
A. You must provide a valid email address to receive the serial number. Check your spam folders and make sure email from Exchange Mail Box Cleanup is not blocked. If you still did not get the serial key please contact support at 732-656-4552 Ext. 111 to receive license file.

Q. How much does Exchange Mail Box Cleanup cost?
A. Starting from USD $149.00.

Q. Does it install any DLLs on my mail server?
A. It does not interfere with your Mail Server or Active Directory. It uses a standalone executable package which queries Active Directory and gets the List of Users and OUs.

Q. Is Exchange Mail Box Cleanup Supported on Exchange 2007 Platform?
A. Exchange Mail Box cleanup is not supported on Exchange 2007 Platform.

Q. Unable to create PSTs.
A. You must have Microsoft Exmerge Files located in the Bin folder of your Exchange Installation Directory.

Q. After running Exchange Mail Box Cleanup I do not get any PSTs. A. Make sure that your Mailbox Store has the following permissions. Administrator “Full Control” Domain Admins “Full Control” By default only administrator has full control. You need to manually assign Full Control Permissions to Domain Admins. Open Up Exchange System Manager -> Expand Servers -> Expand First Storage Group -> Right Click Mail Box Storage -> Properties -> Security Tab
Assign domain Admin Full control permission.
